Brand Identity, Album Cover Design & Photography

JI-TWO: Braselton Blues.

This project consisted of comprehensive package for the band’s debut album, which included an album cover design, along with some tour posters and merchandise. In order for this to happen, I had to create a brand identity for the band and creative direct the photoshoot. Having done both of those things, I was then able to design the album cover and the posters for the tour.

JI-TWO.

지2 (pronounced “jee-too”) is a concept for a Korean-American country rock band comprising of two siblings: Ji-min and Ji-yong. The band is based in Braselton, GA (aka the middle of nowhere). Their country ballads typically recount the times they’ve eaten good Korean food.

Final Deliverables.

final logo & design.

The final logo for the band incorporates the Korean word for “Ji” and the number “2”. I went for a sleek and classic look for the logo so that it could be easily adaptable to whatever aesthetic. For the Braselton Blues album (and all subsequent advertising materials) I went for a more retro look in order to compliment their vintage country sound. I also kept the design straightforward and modern in order to reflect the band’s stripped back and raw music.
